Hi everyone,

In today's tutorial, I'm sharing a very popular beauty tip from Asia: DIY Hydrating Cotton Masks!

Soaking your face with these easy-to-make masks will help nourish and condition your skin. Here are some extra photos and instructions to help you when trying this out at home:

I bought this skin conditioner from an Asian store. It's pretty much watered down moisturizer.

Check out the back, can anyone translate this bad boy? I can only understand the illustration, but assuming this skin conditioner is similar to the others I've used in the past, then it's perfectly fine to soak cotton pads in this formula.

Here are the awesome cotton pads I bought from an Asian store. See? Asian stores don't just sell awesome groceries and pocky, they sell fantastic, rectangular, layered cotton pads!

Here's what they look like!

See how easily I can pull them apart?

Next, take your bottle of skin conditioner, if you can, read the back. I can't understand any of this, but there's a nice illustration of a girl with cotton pads on her face!

Shake your skin conditioner formula to mix it up and then take your rectangular cotton pads, fold them in half, and soak them like this. Be very generous about soaking these pads, you want them wet. Also, this bottle was very inexpensive, around $7, so don't feel too bad using a lot!

Once it's thoroughly soaked, lightly stretch and pull the cotton pads like this...be careful not to over-stretch because they'll rip apart! Then, compress them in your hands, so that the cotton pads are evenly soaked.

Now for the fun part; peeling the pads apart! I dunno why, but I like peeling things like stickers, pore strips, string cheese, those peelable twirlers…anything really!

Apply them on your forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, pretty much your entire face!

Let the mask soak for your face for about 5 to 10 minutes. You'll know when they're done because they'll feel dry.

Next, peel everything off (so fun!). You're skin is going to feel so refreshed!

I recommend doing this on a nightly basis. After I shower and brush my teeth, I wear this mask for around 10 minutes while watching tv, checking emails, or just relaxing. After I remove the mask, I make sure to apply my serum and moisterizer before bed.

Is there something special that you do for your skin every night? Let me know in the comment section below.
