In Hong Kong

Wow, I finally got my rest. 20 hours flight from Florida to San Fran to Hong Kong is not fun (I loath flying…period), but I survived. I got situated at my hotel, but I could not sleep. My internal clock is all sorts of fugged up. Instead I just took photos and waited for my friend to arrive in Hong Kong. I went out sight seeing and there is so much shopping. Ironically I am in no mood to shop (I outshop myself to death whenever I visit New York) , but hopefully I will soon because the prices are not so bad (but not as cheap as I expected). I’ll try and update from time to time. I cannot wait to get home and see my baby, Mr. Bun Bun…

I also decided to cut my bangs before my trip. I used kitchen shears, but hey, it works!

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday…or err…Tuesday for me.

Cheers

Kindly,

-M

    Hi Michelle,

Just wanted to say, as of this message, the pictures on your blog entry are TOO HUGE and slow down your page to almost unusable. You need to crop them and make the file size smaller :)

Thats it! Enjoy HK and try not to think about the flight back too much.

    hey michelle…

i came from hk… but currently in canada… so i know the area pretty well…. i think the reason u dun really think the price are cheap … because wan chai area … is mostly tourist area kinda …. so the mall there is kinda pricey-ish~~ if u wanna find cheap thing and cute thing … may i suggest mong kwok?? there is a street famous for cheap and cute stuff ^^ and if u go the subway line — at the both end of the red one … they get quite good malls ~~ and definitely worth your while i believe…. and omg … food there is amazing … XP

    hope u have a great trip~~

Hi! I just saw your Autumn video. How do you make your eyeliner stay on your waterline? Mine always smudges! Even when I set it with powder. It’s soo annoying.

    hey!

while you’re in hk, you should check out all the great food! Sushi station is half off after 10 (you can find it in mong kok, causeway bay, and tst).

the horse races are pretty fun too if you can make one (wednesdays at happy valley-then get sushi after is what I used to do)

There’s also a cheaper taxi guy in central and kowloon. his name is dennis. if you call him you get 20% taxi prices.

    enjoy x).

    Michelle

I saw your eyebrow tutorial and was very offended. I have a disorder called trichotillomania and it causes me to pull my eyebrow hairs out. Your post was insensitive. I’m sorry that I can’t look intelligent because I don’t have eyebrows.

Please next time think before you make insensitive comments

really courtney, she was not even remotely making fun of those with no eyebrows. She is saying how the eyebrows frames the eyes, and if you read what she wrote, not having eyebrows makes you look more intelligent. Not the opposite. sheesh, dumbass.

Hi there! How long are you in Hong Kong for? I’m going there next week to visit my family :D

You really should go to Mong Kwok cause the stuff there is so cute and so so cheap! And you should go to Sasa as well, it’s a really pink shop that’s kinda like Sephora but they don’t have as many brands.

And to Courtney, it’s not like she’s commenting directly on your eyebrows, how is she meant to know that people with that disorder would read her post? She’s just giving her honest opinion about the subject.

hi michelle, welcome to HK :)
by seeing the view in wan chai, i am sure you are in one of the wan chai’s hotel
the sports ground in the view is where I went for school’s sports day :D
don’t forget to shopping in Mong Kok / Tsum Sha Tsui and see the magnificent night view from the Peak :)
hope you enjoy your trip in HK and be happy,
your friends and Mr Bun Bun definitely miss you too

You should try hotpot in Hong Kong. Hong Kong people love hotpot in the winter.

i think someone may recognize you in the street
because i saw your website being published in a popular newspaper in Hong Kong.
They said your website is really great and provides a lot of useful information about make-up and skin-care.
