Flying back home

Omg, finally, after 2 in a half weeks I’m finally flying back home. I was in Hong Kong, Miami and NYC. It was all work, so I hardly had time to go out and play. I bought a lot of goodies in Hong Kong and plan on doing a contest give away. Will update soon on that with lots of photos.

IQQU Jasmine Rice Scrub debuts next week.

IQQU Handcrafted brushes will be revealed next month.

IQQU products will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I was overseas working on the new eyeshadow formula. It’s been taking months and months to perfect it, but it’s almost finished. I’m not a fan of signing up for private labeled makeup, I’d rather create my own custom formula. Private Label cosmetic is when you can take your name and stamp it over makeup formula that is already existing. You would be surprised to know how many of the popular brands are all sharing the same private label.

Okay, I’m getting ready to leave to the airport. I’ll be home in a jiffy.

Hugs & Kisses

Michelle

Oh do tell who/what/where on the private label makeup!!! I think the consumer deserves to know, so we can patronize unique lines like your own! :)

Will IQQU be distributed in Hong Kong? I live in the Philippines but often go to Hong Kong for business and for acupuncture supplies.

Welcome back to the States. :)

I literally bounced in my chair while squealing reading this. Definitely excited not only for the sale but the rice scrub and other goodies. For the eye shadows, I think it’d be really cool if packaged with them were instructions with pictures on how to best utilize them for a natural day time look and then a dramatic night time look.

This post helps me look forward to life beyond college apps. Haha.

Hey Michelle, my name is Ashley I have a question for you it would be great if you could reply on your own website because i dont have one.

You have beautiful skin it seems i would love to have your skin but i wear foundation every day i wont leave the house without it but i hate wearing it but i’m insecure about my skin but my foundation always looks clumpy i dont have really nice skin, i dont have acne my skin it red and i have a few pimple occasionaly but a lot of black heads on my nose… But around my mouth my skin is a different colour and my chin my skin is pale but i wanna have clear beautiful skin like yours but i know it would take time for that to happen but trying to have clear skin would probably mean i would have to stop wearing foundation and powder but the thing i can’t just stop. i would want to still wear foundation as my skin processus into clear skin if thats even possible. And i usually re-apply my foundation a lot at school cause my skin gets oily a lot. Anyways i was wondering if you had any suggestions or if you could help me out with my problem.

    Thanks so much.

people, it seems that iqqu only shows the positive reviews.
if you read the reviews on makeupalley and on soompi, you will see that the products are actually quite.. crappy and just overpriced.

michelle was already blessed with good skin. so yeah.

Really looking forward to your new product launching. I will definately have to try it and make a few reviews about it. You said something about jasmine, is it a scent for it?. Jasmine scent is delicate and sweet, so I think it is great. Also, really looking forward to your contest, I would love to participate ^^.

Best of lucks and have a safe trip home ^^

Michelle Phan, you’re making everybody as obsessed with makeup as you are. OBTAIN BALANCE IN YOUR INTERESTS. Don’t let one exploration overpower your goals in general. Do you know what is going on in the world? Broaden your interests and you will have less to lose when this season of life has passed…you will not always be an online makeup guru. What will you have?

Hey Michelle! I don’t have a twitter, but I just wanted to tell you that it might be a good idea for you to neuter Mr. Bun Bun =( If you go to a nice place, the bunny won’t feel any pain and neutering a bunny actually might prolong his lifespan. It’ll also make him feel less sexually frustrated, and will probably not act up as much when he’s in heat. Hope that helps!

I find some of michelle’s comments very contradictory. There is nothing wrong with private labels – the formulas have all been tried and tested to ensure it meets safety standards in the relevant countries/continents.

Small startup companies cannot afford to spends hundred of thousands (millions even for some product) in R&D to invent a new formula when there are already existing ones out there. This is most likely more of playing around the edges with additions of fragrances or some “organic” ingredients to appeal to a target market. I personally won’t expect her endorsed products to be different than the private labels, even if they are “customised”

Remember the saying – Don’t fix it if it ain’t broken. This would apply here so please everyone, be inquisitive and check the ingredients to see if you really would notice much difference when new products get released – don’t just follow the marketing hype.

Hi Michelle, I’m living in Hong Kong.  2 weeks ago started use the acne serum and some pimples and acne were gone. The result is good. I would like to know which cream in your iqqu store can put on my normal to oily skin ( sometimes have acne). It’s because I’m not sure some kinds of skin product can fit to me or not, such as replenishing cream, skin rejuvenator, rice scrub and sunscreen.I’m hurry to order because of the Black friday purchase. Wait for your reply!
